eBook - How to prevent radicalization // ROE

Radical Online Education is a KA2 Strategic Partnership Erasmus+ project aimed at tackling the growing radicalization of youth throughout Europe, through providing youth workers all the necessary knowledge and tools to help young people develop their critical thinking skills, avoid exposure to radical propaganda and make proper use of the Internet.
The project Radical Online Education deals with the problem of radicalization and recruitment of young people to fight in war zones. This radicalization or recruitment is often done through the internet and through social media. That’s why Radical Online Education wants to act against online radicalization and find an appropriate response to this threat.
The project consortium includes 4 partner associations from different EU Member States: Danish Youth Team (Denmark, coordinator), Projuven (Spain), ÖJAB (Austria) and Alternativi International (Bulgaria).
With the growing concern about online radicalization and the noticeable increase in openly extremist groups in Europe, more and more Member States are facing threats from radicalization of youth. Throughout the EU, the risk of radicalization leading to extremist violence is growing.
The consistent layout design makes the digital guide easy to navigate and leaves enough white space to ensure a relaxing read. The accent colors (blue and red) match Danish Youth Team's color scheme.
The main version of the digital guide is written in English. The guide was also translated into 4 other languages: Danish, Spanish, German and Bulgarian.
Danish Youth Team is a non-profit organisation with an international background, targeting youngsters from all across Denmark. Every year they send participants abroad to broaden their educational horizons, make friends and simply have fun in countries like Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Greece and other European countries.
The project How to prevent radicalization has been funded by Erasmus+ and the Danish National Agency for Higher Education.
